Hello, Students. Your Medieval Times Exam will consist of TWO essay questions. I have listed four possible essay questions below. I will select two of them for the test on Friday. In order to be prepared, please think about all four questions, because you have no idea what two I will select. Also, you may post some comments about each of the four essay possibilites. Help each other out! That is the beauty of the Blog, after all--students learning together. Good Luck!

1. Discuss the Black Death by answering the following: how did the Black Death affect society? How did it spread? Why was Europe a good place for it?
2. Tell me about the Religion of Islam.
3. Discuss the 5 W's of the Crusades.
4. Explain Feudalism by focusing on the following: Who founded Feudalism? What are the four levels? What does each level do? Why is it a pyramid?

Then it was the knights they were the warriors who fought on horse back. Then the serfs wo are the formers. It is a pyramid because it shows how many of each there are so a the top there are less and at the bottom there is more.

The Black Death was an extremely fast spreading and dangerous plague spread by rats, and from there on; fleas. The Black Death, or Bubonic Plauge, was hard on society. It definelty shortened labor, making it harder to survive. It spread by rats coming from Italian ships, carrying the disease in their blood. The fleas bit the rats, and then quickly bit the humans. It killed almost instantly. Europe was an excellent place for the Black Plague because-

The blach death was only the nick name. The true name was the bubonic plague. It was caried in the blood of rats. And Europe at the time was very dirty so it was a great enviornment for rats to live in. The way that the plague got to people was if a flea bit a rat that was infected and then went and bit a human. The black death spread very fast and it killed within hours of being infected. The people started to die so it reduced the amout of people they had for labor and then and that lead to people starving. After a five year periond of the black death going around it had killed 33% of Europe's population

It is the Arabic word for submission(many Muslims know how to speak different types of Arabic). Muslims are people who are believers of Islam. They follow the five pillars of Islam which are shahada, salat, zakat, sawm, and hajh.
1. There was a shortage of labor. That caused people to starve. It was brought by trading ships from China. Rats on these ships carried the plague in their bloodstream. Fleas bit the rats.
