Stone Age: You Are There

We live in a world called Volantis. It is the realm of Fire and Stone. It is a magical world full of danger and mystery. Today, you will fully enter this world. You will be reading a story, but not just any story. For this story, the main character is YOU. You are the one that will make the decisions, choices. You are the one who will determine the outcome of this story and how it ends. This is not a story that simply is told, it is one that you must survive!  Each time you face a decision, it will impact what happens to you. Brave enough to step inside Volantis? Good Luck.....

 Play the game "You Are There" and complete your score sheet. Details in class. In order to survive/win the game, you must score 50 points. The maximum score for this game is:

    3 Animals: Irish elk, mammoth, and sabre-tooth tiger.

    Cave art is found in caves; they help us learn about the Stone Age.

    Chasing them with a torch over the edge of a cliff.

    The hand ax was the most effective.

    A Neanderthal is: 1) short 2) stocky 3) has a big nose

    Mr. Klumper, I know this isn't the student task, but I had to type it here since I couldn't e-mail you because it wasn't school related...anyway, on the YOU ARE THERE thing, if you click "hunt a sabre tooth tiger", you lose points, but if you click "hunt a mammoth" you STILL lose points. Why?

    One thing found in caves that helps us learn about the stone age is cave art.

    The best method for hunting Irish Elk is chasing it off a cliff.

    The most effective thing for cutting through animal hide is a stone ax.

    Describe a neanderthal

    1- Neanderthals are uncivilized humans that lived in the past.
    2- A dumb person who lived a long time ago.
    3- They do not speak English or any other language we speak today.
