  53. Number 1 is SPQR because they are letters, they were ordered to be chiseled on buildings, armor, coins, and benches, it stands for the senate and the people of Rome.

Number 2 is Spartacus because he is a man, he was a free man, joined the army, ran away, got captured, got forced into slavery, he was sent to Gladiator school, he escaped, and fought in many battles with the Roman army.

Number 3 is The Aeneid because it is a story that took place in around 30 BCE., takes place between the fall of Troy, around the time Romulous and Remus made Rome, and it tells of what happened to the survivors from Troy of the Trojan War.

Number 4 is the Roman Colosseum because it was built in about 6 BCE., it was built out of wood, it was built as a race track for people to race chariots, and it could seat over 250,000 people.

Number 5 is Valentines day because it is a special day associated with red and pink, it was a Roman festival called Lupercalia to honor love, and the Roman god Cupid played a large role in this.

Number 6 is 12 Tables because it is similar to something Hammurabi created in Mestopatmia, after 50 years the Republic wrote down laws so people knew, and the laws were obeyed by all people and organized into 12 sections.

Number 7 is the Forum because it is a place where you give speeches, a good place to shop, and a good place to do a little buisness.

Number 8 is when the Barbarians attack because it was a match up of Roman and Carthage, Rome wasent happy about it, elephants were used to attack, and in one of the battles Hannibal dumped snakes on the boat deck of the enemys ship.

Number 9 is Patricians & Plebeians because it is two groups of people, one group being really rich and wealthy, the other being common people, and many things were diffrent between the groups.

    Number 10 is Julius Caesar
because he is a person, a great general and leader of Rome, he establashed many new important laws, he improved the armt, most of Rome loved him,the senate b/c didint like him because they feared he was getting to powerful, and they killed him.
